It's been a long musical journey playing drums as a youth, DJing, and producing.....In my late teens early 20's I would be up on the 8th floor of this block of flats in W London preparing my set for radio shows over the weekend, so this picture along with the acronym title is all part of the concept of this EP, which comes in two parts is showcasing where I am now with my sound, incorporating my passion of drums of which I played throughout my youth.

If I was not programming them I would no doubt still be playing them, the Pirate part of course relates to the radio stations and the way the sound has developed and progressed since, without this part of the journey and old skool way of pushing the beats it would not be what it is now.

So whether I coin a track Jungle, D&B, Drumfunk or whatever, it all stems back to Pirate stations and raves in fields for me and that needs a big 'ol shout....
